Coastal Apartment

The homes black façade mirrors the volcanic rock, creating the illusion that the structure is emerging organically from the earth. Surrounded by Joshua trees, desert cacti and with sweeping views of the red cliffs of Zion National Park in the distance, the landscape becomes both the backdrop and the narrative.
Inside, the mood is intentionally calm, minimal, warm, and deeply textural. Tones were drawn directly from the surrounding rock and desert flora, translating the wild into warmth. A curated mix of custom and vintage furnishings complements the palette, while a sculptural monolithic stone island serves as the focal point of the kitchen.
This is a house rooted in its environment - quiet, grounded and inseparable from the land it inhabits.
All outdoor furniture was designed in-house as part of our custom furniture collection, built to harmonize with both the architecture and terrain.

Set within a striking lava field in Southern Utah, this home was designed to blur the line between architecture and nature.
