Fisher Island Penthouse
Interior by Design Studio JAC | Photography by Pilar Shoots
Perched on one of Miami’s most exclusive islands, this penthouse is a study in quiet restraint and material clarity.
A pared-back palette, bleached oak, travertine, stainless steel, and lime plaster forms the foundation of the design, creating a calm visual rhythm that allows form, proportion, and light to take center stage. Each element was carefully considered to feel both grounded and elevated. Lime-washed walls absorb and diffuse the Florida light, introducing a softness that tempers the precision of the architecture. Oak cabinetry and flooring add warmth and texture, while custom stainless steel details bring a crisp, refined edge.Travertine plays a leading role throughout, culminating in a custom-designed sculptural kitchen Island, an iconic centerpiece that anchors the space. A series of concealed travertine doors and continuous material transitions create a seamless interior experience, where each room flows effortlessly into the next. The result is a refined, elemental space, quiet but confident, serene yet intentional. A penthouse that doesn’t compete with its surroundings, but rather offers a calm, elevated lens through which to experience them.
